Service & Client Agreement - Summary
This agreement summary outlines how we will work together at Reclaiming You Therapy to ensure you get the most out of your CBT or AuDHD coaching.

Your Appointments
Duration: Standard sessions are 60 minutes, usually held weekly.
Location:
Online sessions: Will take place on MS TEAMS, a link will be included in your appointment reminder each week.
Please note: sessions must be conducted from a confidential, private space. For your confidentiality, please avoid public places (like parks) or being around others during the call.
Face to face: sessions will take place at Gloucester House, 72 Church Road, TS18 1TW.
Emergency Care: Please note that I do not provide crisis or emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, please contact the emergency services or the resources listed on my website.
Commitment & Attendance
Consistency: Therapy works best with regular attendance. Please log in on time, as sessions cannot be extended if you arrive late.
Payments: Appointments are held provisionally for 48 hours and are only confirmed once payment is received.
Confidentiality & Records
Privacy: Everything we discuss is confidential, much like a GP visit.
Exceptions: I only break confidentiality if required by a court of law or if there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else.
Storage: Your notes are stored on the secure, encrypted Kiku system for 8 years (per industry standards) before being destroyed.
Supervision: As part of my professional registration (HCPC/BABCP), I receive regular supervision to ensure I am providing you with the highest standard of care.
Technology
While I use secure platforms for remote therapy, I cannot be held responsible for unexpected technical failures or breaches beyond my control. If we have a technical glitch, I will work with you to find a quick solution.
Feedback & Concerns
Your Voice: I value your feedback at any stage of our work together.
Resolving Issues: If you have any concerns about your treatment, I encourage you to speak with me directly. If we cannot resolve it, you have the right to contact my professional body, the BABCP.
Service & Client Agreement
Reclaiming You Therapy is a private, independent provider of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and AuDHD coaching led by myself, a therapist committed to helping you improve self-awareness, develop new skills, and live a fulfilling life.
Through CBT and AuDHD coaching, you'll learn how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are interconnected. This empowers you to break free from negative patterns and create a more fulfilling life.​

Your Appointments
Typically appointments last for 60 minutes, on a weekly basis. Should this not suit your lifestyle, commitments, please discuss this on the initial telephone call. Please note that sessions cannot be extended beyond the agreed time.

​Please ensure that you choose a quiet & private location to conduct your online sessions & that you log in on time to make full use of the appointment.
Your sessions aim to develop your awareness and break old patterns. Environments like parks, or having family /children present are not confidential and the distractions will limit the benefit from the session.

Booking and Payments:
At the time of booking, appointments will be held provisionally for 48 hours.
Payment must be received within this 48-hour window to confirm the booking; otherwise, the appointment slot will be released.

Remote Sessions
Sessions can be delivered online for convenience to reduced travel time, stress or work around other commitments. This will take place on MS TEAMS, and a link will be included in your appointment reminder each week. Should we experience any technical difficulties, I will strive to fix them or find alternative solutions. -​Please note that I cannot be held responsible for any breaches caused by failures in technology.

Missed/Cancelled Appointments
Missed/cancelled appointments delay your progress and impact others waiting for treatment. Please inform me as soon as possible if you need to amend your booking, I kindly ask that you give at least 48 hours notice of any changes - charges may apply. ​Confidentiality
All contact Reclaiming You Therapy service is confidential, similar to your GP or NHS service. Therapy sessions are documented and kept confidential, following UK legislation. Exceptions include:

You give permission to share information.

A court of law compels disclosure.

There is a real risk of harm to you or others.

Cases of fraud or crime.​
In line with industry standards, these notes must be kept securely for up to 8 years after your therapy comes to an end, after which they will be confidentially destroyed.
All confidential information is held in accordance with the GDPR, 2018 using the secure & encrypted Kiku system (please see my Privacy Policy for more information at https://www.wearekiku.com/privacy-notices).

Data Protection
Your details are stored securely within; Kiku Electronic Record System. This includes session content, risks, observations, assessments, and psychological measures. This data may be used for statistical or treatment review purposes.

​Regulatory Requirement
As a registered Occupational Therapist (OT) with the HCPC and a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with the BABCP, I am subject to regular clinical supervision to ensure accountability, high standards and ongoing development.

I am committed to practicing ethically and legally. If you have any concerns regarding your treatment:

Internal Resolution: I would like to encourage you to raise any issues with me directly so we can work together to resolve them.

Professional Standards: I adhere to the ethical framework of the BABCP. If you believe my practice has been unlawful, unethical, or falls below professional standards and we are unable to resolve the matter, you have the right to lodge a formal complaint via the BABCP website.
